Matt Clarke
began his career in television working as a field producer for "As
Old As We Are" a cable TV series delivering
health and lifestyle information to older New Yorkers. He next went
to "Getting
On" a national PBS series
produced by WNYC-TV and WNET presenting
positive images of aging. He produced, directed and edited documentary
portraits of older people. The programs won an Emmy Award for "Outstanding
Informational Series".
As an independent,
he produced a documentary on Intergenerational Education in Minnesota.
In 1978 began working for WNBC-TV as an Assignment
Editor /Newswriter on "News
for New York" covering local news.
In 1982, he co-founded
PrimaLux Video, a video production services company
serving the corporate and broadcast markets, with studio, location
and off-line and on-line post-production services. The business grew
to over 1 million dollars in annual sales. He became Senior Producer
& Vice President of Operations.
In 1998, he formed Clarke
Com, Inc., providing production, direction, editing, and
media project management services to corporate & broadcast clients.
Clarke has produced, directed, and edited videos for a wide range
of clients and subjects, from a videowall for a food trade show
to promotional videos for real estate developers in Japan, to VNRs
for Broadway shows to management training for investment bankers.
Each project brings the challenge of finding the right techniques
to a support a programs goals and objectives.
Clarke has
skills in management and organizational development and
extensive experience in management for a variety of media projects.
TV Series, corporate videos, multi-camera live productions, web-sites,
Interactive DVD, feature film, and post production facility design
& construction.
